Isn't "Being Good" Good Enough? We, as humans, have a "built-in" sense of right and wrong. Even those who don't necessarily believe in God have a conscience that either accuses them or excuses them. But there is a problem. We are born with something that separates us from God. It's called sin. The Bible uses a number of terms to describe the word sin. One describes it as a willful action, deliberately crossing the line. It also means "to miss the mark." God's "mark" that humanity has missed is perfection - absolute, total perfection. Jesus said, "Be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect." Text is adapted from "How to Share Your Faith" by Greg Laurie
